Policies
Terms & conditions
Last updated 20 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all retail product purchases and beauty services booked with BEC. By purchasing a product, making a booking or receiving a treatment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Bookings & appointments
Appointments are reserved specifically for each client. By making a booking, you agree to attend at the scheduled date and time.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time where necessary, and the full service price may still apply.
For certain services, consultation and consent forms must be completed before treatment.
BEC reserves the right to refuse or postpone a treatment where it is considered unsuitable or unsafe to proceed.
Deposits & payments
A 50% deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
Deposits are applied towards the total cost of your treatment.
Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or changes made outside the applicable cancellation policy, except where otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.
The remaining balance is payable at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations & rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment without forfeiting your deposit.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours, as well as no-shows, may result in the loss of your deposit or a cancellation fee.
Repeated cancellations, rescheduling or no-shows may require payment in full before future appointments can be booked.
No-shows
If you do not attend your appointment without providing notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
BEC reserves the right to require payment of the full appointment fee before accepting future bookings.
Service refunds
Due to the nature of personal beauty services, refunds are not provided simply because a client has changed their mind, no longer wants the treatment, or is unhappy with their personal preference of the result, where the service has been performed as agreed and in accordance with the applicable treatment procedure.
However, this does not exclude or limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you believe your service was not provided with due care and skill, was not reasonably fit for its intended purpose, or otherwise does not meet your consumer rights, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the situation and determine an appropriate remedy.
Where appropriate, we may offer a correction, adjustment, redo or other remedy rather than a monetary refund.
Lash & brow services
Lash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations, tinting, waxing and other lash and brow services are affected by factors including natural hair growth, aftercare, skin type, lifestyle and individual hair characteristics.
Results and retention can therefore vary between clients.
We cannot guarantee a specific result or retention period.
Clients are required to follow the recommended aftercare instructions provided following their treatment.
If you experience an issue with your lash or brow treatment, please contact us promptly so we can assess the result and, where appropriate, discuss a correction.
Any complimentary correction is offered at the discretion of BEC and does not constitute an automatic entitlement to a refund.
Lash extension maintenance & retention
Lash extensions naturally shed with the natural lash growth cycle. Retention can be affected by oil production, skincare and makeup products, rubbing or picking, excessive moisture, sleeping habits, hormonal changes and individual lash cycles.
Because retention varies between individuals, refunds are not provided solely due to reduced retention.
Following professional aftercare recommendations is essential to maintaining your results.
Facials & skin treatments
Facial and skin treatments are customised according to your skin condition, concerns, goals and suitability at the time of treatment.
Skin may respond differently from person to person, and results cannot be guaranteed.
Some treatments may require a course of treatments and appropriate home care to achieve the desired outcome.
If you are unhappy with your treatment or believe something has not been performed correctly, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss your concerns and assess whether a correction or other appropriate remedy is required.
Refunds will not be provided solely because a client does not achieve their desired skin result, where the treatment has been performed appropriately and in accordance with the agreed treatment plan.
Cosmetic tattooing
Cosmetic tattooing, including lip blush and other cosmetic tattoo procedures, is a semi-permanent treatment and results vary between individuals. Colour retention, healed results, symmetry and pigment appearance can be affected by skin type, lifestyle, medications, existing pigmentation, aftercare and the individual healing process.
A healed result cannot be guaranteed. Clients are responsible for following all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided by By Eloise Claire.
Where a complimentary or included touch-up is offered as part of a cosmetic tattoo service, it must be completed within the timeframe specified by By Eloise Claire. Touch-ups are intended to refine healed results where appropriate and do not guarantee a particular colour, shape, symmetry or healed result.
Additional touch-ups requested outside the included treatment or required due to individual pigment retention may incur an additional fee.
Cosmetic tattoo services are generally non-refundable once the procedure has been performed, except where a refund or other remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law.
If you have concerns regarding your treatment, please contact us so we can assess the healed result and discuss the most appropriate course of action.
Allergies, sensitivities & medical information
Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding allergies, sensitivities, medications, relevant medical conditions, previous reactions and other information requested during consultation.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment suitability and results.
BEC may refuse or postpone a treatment where it is considered unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.
A patch test may be required for certain treatments. Where applicable, clients are responsible for attending their patch test within the required timeframe.
Retail products & skincare
Due to hygiene and safety considerations, opened or used skincare products cannot be returned simply because a client has changed their mind.
Unopened and unused retail products may be eligible for return in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
If a product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Product reactions
Individual skin reactions can occur with skincare products, particularly active ingredients.
Clients should follow product instructions and any professional recommendations provided.
If you experience a reaction or believe a product may be faulty, discontinue use where appropriate and contact us so we can assist you.
A product not producing the desired result does not automatically mean that the product is faulty.
Gift cards
Gift cards are redeemable for eligible services offered by BEC and are subject to the terms stated on the gift card.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law. Gift vouchers are not valid to use solely on products.
Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaced, so please keep your gift card details secure.
Memberships & packages
Where a client purchases a membership or treatment package, the specific terms provided at the time of purchase will apply.
Memberships and packages may have minimum commitment periods, payment schedules, expiry dates and cancellation requirements.
Membership services cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded simply because a client chooses not to use their allocated treatment, except where required by law.
Client satisfaction & concerns
Your experience is important to us. If you are unhappy with a service or product, please contact us directly rather than attempting to resolve the matter through a payment dispute or chargeback.
We will make reasonable efforts to understand your concern and work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Where a concern relates to the quality or provision of a service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after the appointment.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where Australian Consumer Law provides you with a right to a refund, replacement, repair, correction or other remedy, those rights will continue to apply.
Our policies regarding deposits, cancellations, service results and change-of-mind returns do not override your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
BEC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applicable to your purchase or booking will generally be those displayed at the time you make your purchase or booking, subject to any rights you may have under Australian law.
